Gone are the days when you had to save pizza for cheat meals. Our vegan food blogger friends across the net have been whipping up something extra special lately: healthy vegan pizza recipes.

You can now have pizza every day. You know what that calls for? A PIZZA PARTY!

Never again do you have to feel like you’re missing out on pizza just because you’re vegan. Now that we know some healthy ways to enjoy it, it’s one of our favorite vegan foods, guilt-free!

1. Sweet Potato Tofu Vegan Pizza

Are you a pizza for breakfast kind of person? If so, this is the pizza for you. We love this recipe because it's very versatile and customizable. Need to use up some veggies before they go bad? Add it to the tofu scramble. We also think the use of sweet potato as a base is borderline life-changing. Why haven't we done this sooner?!

2. Spicy Chickpea Pizza with Cashew Cheese

This pizza will make you step back and say “oh wow, I want a pizza that.” Sarah from Well and Full really put some love into each step of this pizza from the umami cashew cheese and spicy chickpeas, to the peppery arugula and fresh spinach.

3. Nacho Vegan Pizza

We have to admit; we’re kinda upset we didn’t come up with the ingenious idea of using guacamole as a pizza base. Nonetheless, Melissa from the Stingy Vegan impressed us with her marriage of our two favorite foods: nachos and pizza.

This pizza is brilliant because it’s a great way to load up on veggies, healthy fats (looking at you avocados), and of course, legumes. If you throw in some nutritional yeast when you’re making the dough and enjoy a slice or two in the sunshine, you could potentially get in all of your nutrients.

4. Raw Vegan Pizza with Pesto

Raw vegans, you’re in for a treat with this one. You didn’t really think that pizza was no longer an option now that you’re a raw vegan did you? The best part about this vegan pizza is that it’s low fat, oil-free, and salt-free.

5. Hummus and Veggies Pizza

If you love hummus as much as we do,x then you’ll be thrilled to see that it made its way to your next pizza. The creaminess of the hummus will make you forget all about the lack of cheese on this pizza.

Maybe you’re like us and like to experiment with your own flavors and toppings when making pizza, but perhaps you need a little help with the crust. We’ve pulled a few of our favorite crusts from our bookmarks.

Sometimes you don’t want the fancy, exotic, out-of-the-pizza-box recipe. Sometimes you want to want to enjoy your vegan pizza as if it was straight from the streets of New York (without all the animal cruelty). Or maybe you’re cooking for others who aren’t so adventurous as you (or maybe you’re not even telling them its vegan).

Cauli Crust

Pizza crusts that are chock-full of gluten are just so outdated these days. Let us introduce you to our favorite vegetable that ever was introduced to pizza: cauliflower.

The secret to a cauliflower crust is getting it nice and crispy before loading it up with yummy vegan toppings and sending it back in the oven.

Here’s one of our favorite tried and trusted cauli crust recipes from the Minimalist Baker. It can take a little time to nail down the perfect thickness of the crust. Pro tip: make sure you drain your cauliflower, so your crust comes out crispy, not soggy.

In the event, you don’t want to go through the trouble of crafting your own, Trader Joe’s has an AH-mazing gluten-free and VEGAN cauliflower pizza crust that is honestly, to die for. It comes out perfectly crispy every time.
