Ingredients

Zinc (50mg as zinc oxide/citrate)

Zinc is an essential nutrient, vital for protein and DNA synthesis, for maintaining a healthy immune function, wound healing, and growth.

Zinc is often found in cold medications thanks to its crucial role in supporting your body’s immunity, and it is found in both plant-based and animal foods.

Zinc deficiency is associated with impaired growth and development, skin rashes, and impaired wound healing, so getting enough through your diet and supplementation is essential to guarantee a healthy immune system throughout the year!

Benefits

Helps support your natural immune function

Zinc plays a crucial role in supporting your immune response and easing inflammation through its antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties(1). A heathy immune system is your best defense against seasonal illnesses, and low levels of zinc have been associated with impaired wound healing(2) and impaired immune cell function, especially as we age!

Helps maintain skin health

The antioxidant properties of zinc can help you maintain optimal skin health by combating oxidative stress(3). As inflammation is one of the most common causes of skin issues, making sure your zinc levels are where they need to be can help you achieve the glowing, buildup-free skin you’re after!

Frequently Asked Questions

Is it safe?

As health-conscious vegans, we built this product initially for our own use (and our families), so quality and safety are of the utmost importance to us. We work with an FDA-regulated and a Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) certified facility within the USA, carrying out intensive quality control as well as strict raw ingredient supplier vetting process. We also carry out third-party testing on every single batch.

Does it contain soy, gluten, wheat, yeast, nuts, artificial colors, sugar, salt, or artificial preservatives?

Our Zinc Tablets are free from GMOs and all major allergens, but they are manufactured in a facility that handles milk, soy, wheat, egg, peanuts, tree nuts, fish, and crustacean shellfish.

Can’t I just get zinc from a healthy diet?

Zinc is an essential nutrient, which means your body cannot produce it naturally but instead has to obtain it through the food we eat. Even though there are several good sources of zinc available for those on a plant-based diet (legumes, kale, whole grains, nuts, and seeds), the richest sources of the nutrient are found in animal products.

On top of that, plant-based sources of zinc like whole grains and legumes are often accompanied by absorption-blocking nutrients, making for a less bioavailable source.

Vegans and vegetarians will fare better by incorporating a zinc supplement to make sure they are getting enough of this vital mineral!

I have been taking zinc for years

Since becoming vegan I am happier to support vegan companies, so I switched to this with no problems. If I have a stomach issue I take 1 extra and it goes away fast. Can't recommend zinc enough and thank you Future Kind for supporting the vegan cause.

Thanks for the review :)

Hormonal acne fix

I had really bad acne and I tried so many facial products to try fix it as well as changing my diet. Nothing worked. Then I realized that having an IUD in my body could be causing a zinc deficiency (not to mention low meat diets are often lower in zinc)! I stared taking these and I can't believe the change. I hope this message can reach someone with the same situation!

Better libido

I work out a lot and apparently sweating can decrease your zinc which effects testosterone. Happy I decided to try these!

Thanks for the great review!

Love everything except one small issue...

The zinc bottle is plastic and the amount inside uses maybe 5% of the space. Would be great to see larger supplies in each bottle or smaller bottles. On the flip side, I have enough cotton to start an Etsy business making stuffed animals.
