What is Omega 3?
Omega-3 fatty acids are a family of essential fats for our body. It’s estimated that up to 96% of the world’s population are not getting enough Omega-3. The three main types are ALA, EPA & DHA. It’s easy to get enough ALA by eating foods like flaxseeds and chia seeds. However, while your body can convert some ALA to EPA and DHA, it can be hard to get enough.
It's possible to also get EPA & DHA from fatty fish, but as you'll discover, that might bring some risks (5).
The problem is most vegan omega 3 supplement companies don't know how - or don't care - to include the best available ingredients.
A systematic review and meta-analysis published in the Journal of the American Medical Association analysed supplementation with fish oil and found no protective benefit for overall mortality, heart disease mortality, sudden cardiac death, heart attack, or stroke. 6 Some experts believe that’s because fish oil is often found to contain pollutants, like mercury and microplastics. 7

We've Solved The Problem
Future Kind has produced a Vegan Omega-3 made from algae, which is where the fish get it from in the first place.
By going straight to the source at the bottom of the food chain, you don’t have to worry about pollutants. Not to mention the overfishing of our oceans (poor Nemo!).
Omega-3 Fatty Acids help maintain the cells in our body, but early research has discovered various other health benefits...
Support memory & mental flexibility
Clinical trials, including one with young adults, have found that Omega-3 supplementation can help achieve better cognitive performance. 8 9
Improve Your Mood
Omega-3 acids may play a role in healthy mood function. More than 30 clinical trials have been undertaken examining the role it plays on your mood, and they have found that Omega-3 is generally beneficial.
Supports Healthy Joints
Omega-3 has been found in several studies to play a role in healthy joint function. This was supported in a 12 month, double-blind, placebo-controlled study. 11
Promote Eye Health
Several studies have found that supplementing with Omega-3 can help support eye health. One study focused on people that use a computer for longer than 3 hours a day, and found that after daily supplementation, they experienced benefits. 12

The Only Plant-Based Omega-3 Alternative With Significant Levels of EPA + DHA
Our pollutant-free, algae-derived Omega-3 is a game changer. Cruelty-free, sustainably produced, plant-based and rich in the Omega-3 fatty acids EPA & DHA, you won't find it in 99% of vegan multivitamins. You might be thinking you're already getting enough Omega-3 from foods like walnuts and flaxseeds, but these are a source of ALA, which the body can't easily convert to the fatty acids the body most needs: EPA and DHA.
Orange Scented
We've included a orange scented (non-edible) tab that will not only improve the smell of your bottle, but also improve the taste! The subtle aroma of orange makes your daily ritual a pleasure.

Frequently Asked Questions
How long will it take to see results?
This depends on what your diet is already like. If you eat a lot of fatty fish, chia seeds and flax seeds (multiple servings per day), you may already have reasonable levels of EPA & DHA through the conversion of ALA. However, it’s important to remember that these are essential nutrients and if they’re doing a good job, you shouldn’t necessarily feel anything, but you can rest assured that the Omega-3 is hard at work taking care of your body.
What type of algae do you use?
We use a type of deep sea algae, grown in fermentation tanks, in a controlled environment, free from any outside contaminants. It is water extracted, free from PCBs, and solvent free. Most importantly, unlike fish oil, it’s sustainable.
It has been studied extensively for its safety. In fact funnily enough, it’s actually where fish get their Omega-3 from in the first place, we just go straight to the source.
Do I really need Omega 3?
The two most credible nutrition authorities, the World Health Organization and the European Food Safety Authority, recommend that 0.5% - 2% of all calories should come from Omega-3.
If you frequently eat fish, then you may not need to supplement Omega-3.
Why is the Omega-3 dosage 250mg?
Unlike our other vitamins and minerals, there is no official RDI (Reference Daily Intake) for Omega-3.
Ultimately, we decided to use Dr Michael Greger’s Omega-3 dosage recommendations when formulating this product. We haven’t yet found anyone more credible, independent and on top of all the scientific literature as he and his team are.
He recommends 250mg of Omega-3 daily. You can see his recommendation here: https://nutritionfacts.org/2011/09/12/dr-gregers-2011-optimum-nutrition-recommendations/
Our Omega-3 contains 275mg, so just over his recommendation.
Is Vegan Omega 3 Safe?
Omega-3 fatty acids are essential nutrients that you likely already consume through your diet. By creating our Omega-3 from algae, we’re able to also avoid some of the pollutants that could be found in fish oils.
Pregnant or nursing mothers, anyone under the age of 18, and individuals with a known medical condition should consult a physician before using this or any dietary supplement. And of course, do not use it if you are allergic to any of the ingredients.
Does Vegan Omega-3 contain soy, gluten, wheat, nuts, squirrels, artificial colors, sugar, salt or artificial preservatives
Nope! Our product is free from all of those.
